All Katie Kirwan Art prints are a very limited edition run of 75 each. They are produced with a fine art archival method by Ireland's no. 1 studio, Murray Imaging Studio. They are printed on 310gsm German Etching Paper. See the end of this page for more details on the printing process. Custom sizes are available on request - even larger than the original sizes due to the resolution of the imagery.

The Fine Art Archival Pigment Print
Our Archival Pigment Prints are produced using the latest inkjet print technology employing Epson Ultrachrome HDR Pro12 archival quality pigment inks on museum quality fine art papers manufactured by Hahnemühle, Germany, makers of the highest quality art papers for over 400 years. These Pigment Prints have a lightfastness and fade resistance of over of 200 years.
Murray Imaging Studios was appointed by Hahnemühle as a “Certified Studio” for digital fine art printing in Ireland. This worldwide accreditation is granted only to print studios that meet the highest quality standards of consistency, predictability and archivability in
producing archival pigment prints. This accreditation guarantees that the original artwork is being reproduced by using a process which ensures the highest colour accuracy of any fine art reproduction process available today.
Digital Capture – The Master Digital File
To copy the original painting, we use a medium format 200MB Hasselblad HD5 Multi-shot camera with specialised professional lighting to ensure each nuance and tone of the original painting is captured. This is then processed in a fully Colour Managed system, and the resulting Digital Master File is a 16-bit, 360ppi, TIF file from which all future prints are made. As a customer guarantee, with each artwork copy we provide an ‘actual size’ print section of the original to prove the colour accuracy of our Digital Master File.
